Ideal for traffic management needs alongside pedestrian or cycle paths, the VMS-C compact variable messaging sign is our smallest VMS – measuring in with a 600mm x 450mm footprint and 597mm x 597mm display.
With a weight of approximately 110kg, this lightweight option does not compromise on high-quality display, boasting a 32 x 32 pixel range and full colour LEDs, allowing for the creation of multiple graphics. Any displayed message can be changed totally remotely via our secure online portal.
The unit is powered by 100w solar power along with a 12v AGM sealed system battery, and has a battery life of 7-30 days when not operating via solar power. A remote low voltage alert system ensures that battery replacement is conducted in a timely manner without compromising the unit’s operation.
While VMS-C is easy to move and position, it has a range of features that ensures it stays in its allocated spot. The wheels and manoeuvring handle are removable, and the battery compartment can be padlocked for increased security. On top of this, every VMS-C comes standard with web-based GPS tracking, accessed via our online portal.
Ad hoc spot hire – This allows customers to manage their workloads and call on us to deliver one or more units whenever and wherever needed within the UK from one of our 3 depots across the country.
Contract hire – This is structured around framework agreements and contracts. Customers have access to the latest VMS technology whenever it’s needed for long term contracts at reduced hire rates, to give a greater saving and increase customer margins. All maintenance is handled by us, with outstanding customer service and remote monitoring capabilities.
Purchase – For customers with an ownership model, we can manufacture and deliver any VMS quantity for projects and major schemes. Being manufactured in house, we can offer custom options and short lead times for delivery.
