SOLAR ACCESS BARRIER

Prevent unauthorised vehicle incursions into a closure, access point or a specific work safety zone within your site with an intelligent solar access barrier.

Our SAB (solar access barrier) is quickly installed on a compact base footprint, and can be quickly deployed by a single operative to create a secure site environment in minutes. Up to 10 units can be deployed on a single low floor TM spec 3.5t vehicle.

Product Description

The Solar Access Barrier can be controlled in a number of ways:

  • Local Control
Operatives can manually raise and lower the barrier using the button on the side of the housing. This can be disarmed as an option, should it be placed in an unmanned area.
  • Short Range Control
Operatives can control the barrier using a remote control from up to 100m away – for example, in the safety of their own vehicle.
  • Remote Access Control
Optionally, we can mount a CCTV camera and 2-way audio module for an unmanned access point. The user needing access can buzz the intercom, our custom-built app receives the call along with live CCTV footage, and the operative can grant the relevant site users access.
  • Automated Access
Finally, we can mount an embedded ANPR module into the solar access barrier. With an authorised number plate list entered, the pre-approved contractors can freely access the site. All records are stored and logged for audit purposes.

By including the solar access barrier on your site, you are creating a Smart Safety Zone. In certain circumstances, the embedded intelligence within can remove the need for an operative on monitoring the specific area.
